The process quality has a direct impact on the quality of our services and products. To document our high quality standards, already more than ten years ago we have implemented a quality management system according to the ISO 9001 standard. Also various quality audits by clients such as Novartis and Areva or the repeatedly received award as Top Areva Supplier certify our efforts to maintain the highest quality standards.
The Schweizerische Vereinigung für Qualitäts- und Managementsysteme SQS confirms the continuous development of our quality management system. Thus, we are pleased to be among one of the first companies to receive the successful certification according to ISO 9001:2015 in November 2015:
The term quality entails meeting all of the requirements established and agreed upon in relation to our products and services. Safety (of people and installations), regulatory conformity, functionality, and adherence to set schedules and prices are fundamental components of our quality. We also strive to evaluate the quality of our products and services from the perspective of our customers. We consider the high standards of quality we place on our products and services essential to our long-term existence. This is why every member of our management team is responsible for the level of quality required and agreed upon. Open relationships with both our customers and suppliers represent another of our stated goals.
Implementing and maintaining our quality management system in line with the ISO 9001:2008 standard is one of the primary concerns of our management team. Its members exemplify the quality management system in their daily work, and the system is a mandatory element of how our company is administered. To achieve a high level of quality in our products and services, we rely on solid training and the further advancement of our employees’ skills. We also strive to enable all of our employees to find satisfaction in their work by assigning them to areas that match their aptitude and skills. In addition, providing encouragement on both a personal and professional level promotes their loyalty to the company. Meanwhile, we periodically review our planning, design, and programming procedures. We also test new procedures, assess them based on technical and financial factors, and implement them when appropriate. With regard to communication, the company follows an open information policy that functions both from the top down and from the bottom up according to the relevant levels of hierarchy. We consider the optimization of quality an ongoing activity that will never be complete. It is described in terms of established procedures in our management system.
