Your tasks
- Advising and supporting our customers in the digitization and secure networking of systems, processes, and machines—across IT and OT boundaries.
- Analyzing customer requirements and developing customized IT/OT solutions for the industrial IT environment
- Planning server and client infrastructures in Microsoft or Linux environments, including domain and user administration.
- Design of virtualization architectures (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and planning of scalable, fail-safe system landscapes.
- Design of secure, high-performance network structures (VLANs, routing, firewall concepts) for reliable communication between IT and OT systems.
- Development and evaluation of modern IT security concepts for IT and OT environments, including risk analyses, vulnerability management, and compliance with current security standards (e.g., ISO 27001, IEC 62443).
- Design of cloud integration scenarios (e.g., Azure, AWS) and secure connection of OT systems to cloud environments.
- Creation of concept documents and presentations for customers and internal teams.
Your profile
- Degree in computer science, automation technology, process engineering, or training in an IT profession
- Experience in IT/OT infrastructure projects (Microsoft Server, virtualization, networks)
- Enthusiasm for digitalization, data platforms, and Industry 4.0 topics
- Knowledge in one or more of the following areas:
- Process data acquisition, OT communication, interfaces
- Virtualization (VMware, Hyper V)
- IT networks, firewalls
- Data management & analysis
- Process engineering, e.g., paper technology or energy generation
- Independent, structured way of working and enjoyment of customer contact
- Very good German skills, good English skills desirable
