Your tasks
- Advising and supporting our customers in the digitalization and secure networking of plants, processes, and machines—across IT and OT boundaries.
- Analyzing customer requirements and developing customized IT/OT solutions for the industrial IT environment
- Analyzing existing IT and OT infrastructures and surveying customer requirements in the context of digitization and Industry 4.0.
- Developing individual integration and digitization concepts for the secure and efficient networking of systems, processes, and machines.
- Design of virtualization architectures (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and planning of scalable, fail-safe system landscapes.
- Design of secure, high-performance network structures (VLANs, routing, firewall concepts) for reliable communication between IT and OT systems.
- Planning of server and client infrastructures in Microsoft or Linux environments, including domain and user administration.
- Development and evaluation of modern IT security concepts for IT and OT environments, including risk analyses, vulnerability management, and compliance with current security standards (e.g., ISO 27001, IEC 62443).
- Design of cloud integration scenarios (e.g., Azure, AWS) and secure connection of OT systems to cloud environments.
- Planning the system integration of production systems, machines, and sensors into the central data platform (KRIS 4) for end-to-end data collection and processing.
- Creating concept documents and presentations for customers and internal teams.
- Advising customers on strategic issues relating to digitalization, IT/OT security, and process optimization.
Your profile
- Completed degree in computer science, automation technology, process engineering, or a comparable qualification.
- Several years of relevant professional experience in the IT/OT service sector (e.g., as an IT system engineer, project manager, or in a comparable role).
- Experience in the design and planning of IT/OT infrastructures, digitization solutions, or Industry 4.0 projects.
- In-depth knowledge of IT/OT architectures, network technology, virtualization, and IT security.
- Analytical thinking, structured approach to work, and strong communication skills.
- Very good German and good English skills.
- Ability to work in a team, initiative, and enjoyment of conceptual work.
- Willingness to travel occasionally.
